6 Months Later — Jun 26, 2026
Jon's Newsletter's December 2025 growth stock picks have returned an average of 63.7% over six months, far outpacing the S&P 500's 6.0% gain over the same stretch. Eleven of the nineteen picks tracked by FinIQ are beating the market.
Micron Technology (MU) is the standout, up 284.7% since the article published. That single position is carrying much of the overall result — strip it out and the average return drops considerably, though the portfolio still leads the index.
The remaining eight picks are trailing the S&P 500. Jon Erlichman framed these as growth names to own heading into 2026, and the first half of the tracking period has delivered strong aggregate performance driven primarily by one semiconductor winner.
3 Months Later — Mar 30, 2026
Jon's Newsletter has outpaced the S&P 500 by 10.7 percentage points three months after publishing its December growth stock picks. The portfolio gained 2.6% while the index dropped 8.1% over the same stretch.
Eight of the 19 tracked picks are ahead of the S&P 500. LITE led the group with a 75.7% return, accounting for much of the portfolio's overall gain.
The remaining 11 picks lagged the index. Still, the portfolio's positive return in a down market puts it well ahead of the benchmark at this early checkpoint.
3 Days Later — Jan 2, 2026
Jon's Newsletter sits 0.7 percentage points ahead of the S&P 500 three days into tracking its December 30th picks. The portfolio averages a flat 0.0% return while the index fell 0.7%.
Thirteen of the nineteen recommendations are outperforming the broader market at this early stage. Micron Technology leads with a 7.2% gain, accounting for most of the relative strength against the benchmark.
This snapshot reflects only the first 72 hours of market action. Longer tracking periods will show whether the picks maintain their edge as volatility settles and the group's thesis plays out over the coming weeks.
